Cyber Security WordPress Themes in 2026 (5 Paid, 2 Free)

People who visit a security firm's website know how to check it. A prospect's IT manager can run WPScan against your homepage in a minute, see which theme and plugins you use and look up their version numbers. If your own site runs an outdated slider plugin, that is a bad first meeting.
So this list looks at themes that give an MSP, pen-testing shop or security consultancy the pages it needs. That means services, case studies, pricing and a way to book an audit. We also looked at what each theme installs alongside it.
We checked five paid themes and two free wordpress.org themes on 28 September 2026. Prices, sales, ratings and update dates come from each theme's own page, and the sources are at the end.

Vaximo
Vaximo from EnvyTheme is the oldest theme here and the best seller in this list. The demo opens on a dark hero with a pink Get Quote button. Above it is a top bar for email, address and phone, and the main menu has a Shop item.
It ships 18 or more homepages. Some are unusually specific, with versions for AI security, cryptocurrency security, government defence and cloud security.
Training is what makes it different. It supports Tutor LMS, so a firm that runs security awareness courses can sell them from the same site, with WooCommerce handling the checkout. You pay for that with a heavier stack, because the item page lists Advanced Custom Fields Pro and Redux Framework as part of the build. Vaximo costs $69 and has 1,009 sales and a 4.50 rating from 22 reviews. It was last updated on 5 August 2026.

CyberGuard
CyberGuard by Bravis-Themes is less than a year old, and its demo copy makes the most sense of the paid themes. The hero button reads Request A Security Audit. The three service blocks underneath cover network security, cloud security and regulatory compliance, with GDPR, HIPAA and ISO named. You could keep a good part of that structure.
It bundles the Booked appointment plugin. Of everything in this list, that is the easiest way to let a prospect book a discovery call on your calendar.
It also bundles Slider Revolution, a premium plugin with 24 patched vulnerabilities on Patchstack. Five of those were published between May and June 2026, so you need to keep it current. There are 10 prebuilt sites, five multi-page and five one-page. CyberGuard costs $49 and has 243 sales and a 5.00 rating from 5 reviews. The last update was on 11 September 2026.

Cyarb
Cyarb comes from the same studio as Vaximo, but it looks nothing like the usual hooded-hacker theme. The demo is light, with a photo of two people at a laptop and an email field in the hero asking for a free quote. Case Studies is its own menu item. That suits a consultancy that wins work on past engagements more than on a service list.
Under the hood it uses the same Elementor, Redux and ACF Pro setup as Vaximo, with 85 custom Elementor widgets and 12 or more homepage variations.
It has fewer reviews than its sibling, and they are a little lower. Cyarb costs $59 and has 368 sales and a 4.11 rating from 9 reviews. It was last updated on 30 August 2026.

Fortified
At $39, Fortified from designingmedia is the cheapest paid option. Look at it first if you publish your prices. Pricing is a top-level menu item in the demo, and the theme ships six versions of the pricing page. It also has six About and six Services variations and seven homepages. Services are a custom post type, so each one gets its own page without you building it by hand.
The compatibility list is the weak spot. It names WooCommerce 5 to 8 and WordPress up to 6.9, and WordPress 7.0 is already out. If you plan to run a shop on it, test it on a staging copy before you commit.
It has 144 sales and no rating on the item page. The last update was on 28 March 2026.

Fort
Fort is ThemeREX's cyber theme and the most design-led one here. The demo puts CYBER SECURITY in huge cyan letters across a dark purple page, with a small portrait photo and a chat button in the corner. It has three homepages and more than 750 customizer options. That gives a brand plenty of room to look different from the stock-photo crowd.
It requires the ThemeREX Addons plugin, which is shared across ThemeREX's whole catalogue. Patchstack lists eight vulnerabilities for it. They include unauthenticated file upload flaws disclosed in January 2025 and March 2026, and a PHP object injection disclosed on 11 September 2026. Each has a fixed version, but you have to install every update the day it lands.
Fort costs $69 and has 42 sales and one review. It was last updated on 29 July 2026.

Cyber Security Blocks (free)
People search for a cyber security WordPress theme free download, and this is the legitimate version of that.
It is free, and it comes from wordpress.org, where every theme passes a review before it is listed. Cyber Security Blocks by Ovation Themes is a block theme, so you edit it in the WordPress site editor with no page builder at all. It has 21 patterns and eight colour variations, from dark to sea green. The only plugin it suggests is Ovation Elements, and that one is optional.
It is a freemium theme, and it shows. The preview menu includes a Buy Now link, and the Pro version is $59, on sale for $40 when we checked. Delete that menu item and the free theme does the job for a small firm. It has 700+ active installs, 52,324 downloads and a single five-star review, and version 5.0.6 was released on 19 September 2026.

Pixel Cyber Security (free)
Pixel Cyber Security by ThemesPixel is another free block theme, added to wordpress.org in December 2025. Its preview is busier than Cyber Security Blocks. There is a split hero about ethical hacking, a video card, and counters for clients, monitored assets and network sensors.
Replace those numbers with your own or remove them. A security buyer will not believe 26K+ happy clients from a three-person consultancy.
Its description mentions VPN resellers and WHMCS, which makes it the closest fit here for a small hosting or VPN business. It has 11 patterns and recommends one optional plugin, a WPZOOM video popup block. The menu again carries a Buy Now link to an upgrade. It has 80+ active installs and no reviews yet, and version 2.1.5 came out on 8 September 2026.

What are the most secure WordPress themes?
No theme is secure because of its brand name. The Patchstack report on 2025 counted 11,334 new vulnerabilities across the WordPress ecosystem, 42% more than in 2024. Themes accounted for 9% of them and plugins for 91%. Core had only six. Patchstack also found that 46% of the flaws were not fixed by the time they were made public.
The risk sits in the code you add around WordPress, and most of it arrives as plugins.
That leads to four practical tests. First, check how often the theme is updated by reading the last update date and the changelog, and prefer one touched in the past few months. Second, count the bundled and required plugins, because every one is more code to patch. Themes on wordpress.org may only recommend plugins that are also hosted there, and they never install them automatically. That is one reason the free themes above are lean. Third, buy from an author with a track record and read the comments on the item page. Fourth, look the theme and its plugins up in the WPScan or Patchstack databases before you buy. That is how we found the ThemeREX Addons and Slider Revolution histories mentioned above.
The official WordPress hardening guide says to stick to the wordpress.org directory or well-known companies for themes and plugins. That rules out the "free download" copies of paid themes that turn up in search results. When we searched for one of the themes in this list, a nulled copy appeared on the first page.
Patchstack has documented the WP-VCD malware family spreading by injecting itself into exactly these pirated themes and plugins. A nulled theme cannot receive the author's updates anyway. For a company that sells security, getting caught running one would be hard to explain to a client.
The question comes up often enough on r/Wordpress that there are standing threads on it. One is called "Nulled themes/plugins - Good ? Or bad ?" and another asks whether nulled copies are acceptable for testing. Pay for the theme. Then spend the time you save on the parts that protect the site, which are updates, backups, two-factor logins and a short plugin list.
Final thoughts
If you run training or awareness courses as well as services, Vaximo is the only theme here built for both, and its six-year update record is the strongest. For a consultancy that mainly wants prospects to book an audit, CyberGuard has the most usable demo copy and a booking plugin. Just keep Slider Revolution updated.
Cyarb suits firms that sell to finance or HR people rather than engineers. Its light design and case study pages feel less like a hacker film.
Fortified is the pick for an MSP with published tiers, at the lowest price, but test it on WordPress 7.0 first. Fort gives you the most striking look, though its companion plugin has a patchy record. If you do not want to pay anything, Cyber Security Blocks is the better-established of the two free themes. Pixel Cyber Security is worth a look for VPN and hosting resellers.
